The party was over long ago, and Zelda (Hutchins)
came out with a baby girl to boot. As a struggling twenty-something
graphic artist, Zelda works as a porn magazine illustrator
and shares a loft with several friends and addicts.
The bright light of her day is girl talk over half-price
margaritas with her four mommy friends. These scenes are the
highlights of the film as they are composed with real-life
sincerity and humor.
Underlying tensions grow with Zelda’s live-in boyfriend Max
(Fessenden) as he becomes attracted to Zelda’s friend
Natali (Ramos). Zelda begins to feel stifled trying
to maintain her sexy party life with the added responsibilities
of motherhood and finally seeks change.
