Martin Landsky
In Between
Poker Flat Recordings

Four years ago Martin Landsky released his first 12" as City Nord on the MC Projects label and now the Berlin artist is releasing his debut for Poker Flat. Hailed by Danny Tenaglia, Landsky is an incredibly skilled producer and sounds like a long time veteran. With his ears drawn to diverse influences like hip-hop, funk, and house, In Between is a moving house record and excellent debut. Evidently he uses classic sounds and samples in his tracks but you would never be aware of it. The sound is rich and wet, never overbearing and is minimal and lush house music that selects only the most appealing and crucial sounds for it's makeup. All the way through, the sound is seductive and will quickly draw your attention to its intricate details, lifting your emotions to a place far more important than a dance floor. -Justin Hardison
