Making Cannibals Of Birds
Reader Demo

We don’t usually review demos on the site but why the hell not? Omnivoyeur aka Joe Pazo hails from Denver and has been involved in electronic music for the past ten years or so producing everything from ambient to industrial as a solo artist and with other bands and now he’s worked hard to break free from distractions and create a collection of tracks that are purely him and free from the influence of other band members. After listening to “Making Cannibals Of Birds,” it seems music isn’t the only thing on his mind. His lyrical content contains a lot of emotional subject matter and sex, like most of us, has been on the brain as well. Pazo constructs subtly beautiful arrangements that draw on a lot of wobbly analog keyboards, moody piano work, and drum tracks to back up his own vocal work that will appeal to fans of darker synth-pop ala Depeche Mode and Placebo. The music seems to be really be the strongest element of the album judging by the arrangement and subtle attention Pazo gives to each sound to make sure if offers the most emotional impact possible. Check him out!
