The selection of records on this compilation set is impeccable, really keeping a natural progression from beginning to end; starting off with some white noise and drums, Lawler progresses the album into something that you can't help but dance to. Hidden messages speaking of tripping in the dark, sex, seduction and drugs shows the darker side of the "underground". Raw soundscapes and rumbling basslines give the album a dirty and harsh texture.
