As the evolution of speed metal-punk continues there will be winners
and losers along the way, and I can resolutely say Letters Organize
will be standing firmly on the bodies of the losers. Like many of
their predecessors, such as Korn, and to a lesser extent
Rancid, LO firmly grab their sound by the throat and don't let
go until there is barely any life left. Where this band succeeds where
others fail is the no-holds-barred intensity that they bring to the
plate, while varying themes within the same vein to create decent
material that can't help but move you. This is distinctly true because
of the lead singers' ability to cater his style to the microsecond
changes in the songs. The guitars and drums further hit the point
home with their persistent barrage of lines that never let down for
a minute - impressive for their sheer endurance maintaining such a
level of energy.
Overall, this is a decent album with a lot of good licks and if you
can handle the speed, there is plenty of that to go around. Not for
the feint of heart, but completely worth it for those who can handle
it.
