This is a little gem for sure. A one-man band oozing self-confidence
and 80s style Depeche Mode stomping; Tom Vek has
created a refreshing sound. 'If You Want' takes a while to get
into, but it really is worth it if you persevere. However, the
short, sharp radio edit does it no justice but the longer "Playgroup
Dub" version shows this single in all its glory.
B side, 'A Little Word In Your Ear' is sublime with a catchy
funk guitar riff and Tom's monotonous vocals easing over the
top. This artist is definitely onto something here and I would
recommend you keep an ear out for him.
