"10 Albums later
we're still punk". That seems
to be the main message that the veteran band Guttermouth
is trying to put in people's minds. 10 albums and 10 years have
passed since their first appearance on the music scene. Has their
music changed much since that first album in 1996? Nope.
Shave The Planet is a punk album in the absolute pure
and simple definition of the word. It's loud, fast and basically
offensive. Not really any songs that you could dance to or even
sing along to, but probably the most perfect set of 10 songs to
get any mosh pit started. Guttermouth stacks right up there with
NOFX in the punk hall of fame and no matter how many albums
they put out, there is always an audience to buy them. There's
not much new to say about this album. If you're looking for an
outlet to release all that built up hostility or a way to lash
out against today's politicians, then this would be an excellent
addition to your music library. If you're a long time Guttermouth
fan, then you won't be disappointed. 10 albums later and there's
no sign of slowing down.
