It's not everyday that you hear of a band from California that's
not from L.A., but perhaps these guys will change that. The
Morning Benders hail from the Bay Area, as in San Francisco,
as in miles and miles away from Hollywood or Beverly Hills. Ok
no, that shouldn't be the reason that you check them out, rather
their music should be.
Are you a fan of The Beatles? How about Tom Petty?
Ok, try some Beach Boys? If you answered "yes"
to any of these questions then you will really enjoy TMB's EP
Loose Change. Written in a style similar to that of the aforementioned
bands and set to a type of 60's or 70's California pop, this CD
will take you back in time. With only 6 songs, you get just a
taste of what these guys have to offer... yet it leaves you wanting
more and anticipating their debut release. With lyrics like: "Take
my heart with a grain of salt" and "Don't let heavy
hearts pile up on you", you can't help but get these love-stricken,
catchy words stuck in your head.
Being self-produced and self-promoted, they've already built
up a name for themselves, which is impressive in itself. So do
'em a favor and check out the EP, the guys will thank you.
