A good critic is neutral and unbiased. I'm not going to lie to
you and tell you that I have either one of those qualities when
it comes to Sublime. I love it. The entire thing. I loved
it ten years ago.
That said, if you're a true Sublime fan, you already bought
this album a decade ago, or at least have heard all the tracks.
There's really no need to buy this version. Sorry record execs.
But come on, a Deluxe, 10th Anniversary Edition?!
Here's what I recommend in compromise: Dig out your old version
for your own listening pleasure, and if you still smoke, light
one up. Then, since the holidays are coming up, buy this edition
for a younger sibling, cousin or niece/nephew and pass on the
greatness that is Sublime.
